1. How do I check-in for international flights?
Passengers should arrive at the airport within the required time limit. Please bring your valid passport, necessary visas and other valid travel documents that you used during the purchase of your ticket. Be sure to complete all check-in and exit requirements in advance.

2. What is the closing time for check-in on regional and international flights?
For flights originating in Beijing: All of Air China’s Domestic and International flights operate out of T3. Check-in counters for Air China flights will close 30 minutes before departure for domestic flights and 60 minutes before departure for international and regional flights. Boarding gates for all flights will close 10 minutes before departure. Customers connecting between Terminal 3 and Terminal 1 or 2, should plan for a minimum connecting time of 2-3 hours depending on the flight.

3. What type of identification is needed during check-in?
For international flights, passengers will need to show a valid passport, necessary visas and other travel documents that you used during the purchase of your ticket. Please be sure that these documents are in your carry-on baggage and not packed in your checked luggage.

4. May I check-in for my flight online?
Passengers who have purchased Air China’s international e-tickets may choose to complete check-in procedures and print their boarding pass via their local Air China website. The online check-in service allows you to choose flight seats, accrue mileage and print boarding pass. These services are only available for flights operated by Air China. Online check-in is available for flights from the cities listed below along with check-in times.

Bangkok	You can complete check-in procedures for Air China's next-day flights from Bangkok to Beijing from 8:00 am local time to 3 hours before the scheduled departure time.
Frankfurt	You can complete check-in procedures for next-day flights originating from Frankfurt to Beijing and Shanghai from 18:00 pm local time to 3 hours before the scheduled departure time. Please bring a valid ID document to check-in your baggage at the Counters Nos. 539-543, Zone B, T1, Frankfurt Airport.
Hong Kong	You can complete check-in procedures for all Air China operated next-day flights originating from Hong Kong from 18:00 pm local time to 3 hours before the scheduled departure time. Please bring a valid ID document to have your boarding pass stamped and check-in your baggage at Air China Check-in Counters, Zone J, Hong Kong Airport.
Kuala Lumpur	You can complete check-in procedures for next-day flights from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing from 16:00 pm local time to 3 hours before the scheduled departure time. Please bring a valid ID document to collect your boarding pass and check-in your baggage at Air China Check-in Counters, Island G, Level 5, Kuala Lumpur Airport.
London	You can complete check-in procedures for all Air China operated next-day flights originating from London from 14:00 pm local time to 2 hours before the scheduled departure time. Please verify that both your visa and passport are valid.
Melbourne	You can complete check-in procedures for Air China's next-day flights originating from Melbourne from 12:00 am local time to 3 hours before the scheduled departure time.
Munich	You can complete check-in procedures for Air China's next-day flights originating from Munich from 15:00 pm local time to 3 hours before the scheduled departure time.
Milan	You can complete check-in procedures for Air China operated next-day flights originating from Milan to China from 15:00 pm local time to 3 hours before the scheduled departure time.
Moscow	You can complete check-in procedures for Air China operated next-day flights originating from Moscow to China from 15:00 pm local time to 3 hours before the scheduled departure time. Madrid	You can complete check-in procedures for Air China operated next-day flights originating from Madrid to China from 24 hours to 3 hours before the scheduled departure time. Please bring a valid ID document to collect your boarding pass and check-in your baggage at Air China Check-in Counters Nos. 150-154, Terminal 1, Madrid Airport.
Rome	You can complete check-in procedures for Air China's next-day flights originating from Rome to Beijing from 16:00 pm local time to 4 hours before the scheduled departure time.
Osaka	You can complete check-in procedures for Air China operated next-day flights originating from Kansai International Airport from 15:00 pm local time to 3 hours before the scheduled departure time. Please bring a valid ID document to collect your boarding pass and check-in your baggage at Air China Check-in Counters No. 1-24, Island G, Level 4, Kansai International Airport, Osaka.
Singapore	You can complete check-in procedures for next-day flights from Singapore to Beijing from 13:00 pm local time to 3 hours before the scheduled departure time. Please bring a valid ID document to collect your boarding pass and check-in your baggage at Air China Check-in Counters, Zone 10, T1, Singapore Airport.
Stockholm	You can complete check-in procedures for Air China's current-day flights from Stockholm to Beijing from 8:00 am local time to 3 hours before the scheduled departure time. Please bring a valid ID document to collect your boarding pass and check-in your baggage at Air China Check-in Counters Nos. 27-31, Terminal 5, Stockholm Airport.
Sydney	You can complete check-in procedures for Air China's next-day flights originating from Sydney from 12:00 am local time to 3 hours before the scheduled departure time.
Taipei Taoyuan	You can complete check-in procedures for Air China operated next-day flights originating from Taipei Taoyuan Airport from 18:00 pm local time to 3 hours before the scheduled departure time. Please bring a valid ID document to collect your boarding pass and check-in your baggage at the Check-in Counters, Departure Level 3B, Terminal 2, Taipei Taoyuan International Airport.
Tokyo Narita	You can complete check-in procedures for all Air China operated next-day flights originating from Tokyo Narita Airport from 13:00 pm local time to 3 hours before the scheduled departure time. Please bring a valid ID document to collect your boarding pass and check-in your baggage at the Air China Check-in Counters in Terminal 1 of Tokyo Haneda Airport.
Vancouver	You can complete check-in procedures for next-day flights originating from Vancouver to Beijing from 14:00 pm local time to 3 hours before the scheduled departure time.
New York	You can perform check-in procedures from 24 hours to 4 hours before the scheduled departure time. Please bring a valid ID document to collect your boarding pass and check-in your baggage at the Air China Check-in Counters Nos. H1-H8 in Terminal 1 of JFK International Airport.
Los Angeles	You can perform check-in procedures from 24 hours to 3 hours before the scheduled departure time. Please bring a valid ID document to collect your boarding pass and check-in your baggage at the Air China Check-in Counter No. 47 in Terminal 2 of Los Angeles International Airport.
San Francisco	You can perform check-in procedures from 24 hours to 3 hours before the scheduled departure time. Please bring a valid ID document to collect your boarding pass and check-in your baggage at the Air China Check-in Counters No. 40 and 41 in Island 3, Terminal of San Francisco Airport.
Paris	You can perform check-in procedures from 28 hours to 3 hours before the scheduled departure time. Please bring a valid ID document to collect your boarding pass and check-in your baggage at the Air China Check-in Counter No. 08 in Terminal 1 of Paris Charles De Gaulle Airport.
Tokyo Haneda	You can complete check-in procedures for all Air China operated next-day flights originating from Tokyo Haneda Airport from 13:00 pm local time to 3 hours before the scheduled departure time. Please bring a valid ID document to collect your boarding pass and check-in your baggage at the Air China Check-in Counters in Tokyo Haneda Airport.
Fukuoka	You can complete check-in procedures for all Air China operated next-day flights originating from Fukuoka Airport from 18:00 pm local time to 3 hours before the scheduled departure time. Please bring a valid ID document to collect your boarding pass and check-in your baggage at the Air China Check-in Counters, Island D, International Terminal D, Fukuoka Airport.
Taipei Songshan	You can complete check-in procedures for all Air China operated next-day flights originating from Taipei Songshan Airport from 18:00 pm local time to 3 hours before the scheduled departure time. Please make sure that you collect your boarding pass and check-in your baggage at the Check-in Counter No. 2  in Taipei Songshan Airport at least 60 min prior to the scheduled departure time of your flight.
Nagoya	You can complete check-in procedures for all Air China operated next-day flights originating from Nagoya from 24 hours to 3 hours before the scheduled departure time. Please bring a valid ID document to collect your boarding pass and check-in your baggage at the Check-in Counter No. 12, Island I, Nagoya Airport.
Seoul Incheon	You can complete check-in procedures for all Air China operated next-day flights originating from Seoul Incheon Airport from 0:00 am to 3 hours before the scheduled departure time. Please bring a valid ID document to collect your boarding pass and check in your baggage at the Air China Check-in Counter No. 21, Island H, Seoul Incheon Airport.
Seoul Gimpo	You can complete check-in procedures for all Air China operated next-day flights originating from Seoul Gimpo Airport from 0:00 am to 4 hours before the scheduled departure time. Please bring a valid ID document to collect your boarding pass and check in your baggage at the Air China Check-in Counter No. 3, Island D, Seoul Incheon Airport.

5. Can I use web check-in if I have baggage to check?
Yes. After you have successfully checked-in online, you may check your baggage at our designated Web Service Desk at the airport.

6. Can I cancel my flight after checking in online?
Yes. If you want to cancel your flight after having completed online check-in procedures, you may do so online within the processing period or call the service hotline at +86 95583.
